Welcome to JLS Custom Rods. We build the highest quality custom fishing rods and gaff’s using only the best blanks and components. Our goal is to ensure your rod of a lifetime is one you will never want to hit the water without. We never use low quality components to cut corners, and we stand behind each custom rod or gaff we sell. While we can build on any blank available, we also have our own proprietary; made to spec Taipan blanks. As well, we build a lot of fresh water and inshore rods on St. Croix. Our Taipan blanks are hand rolled in the USA and come with our own special warranty. Our line of Taipan blanks are proprietary to us as we have designed the power and actions to suit the needs of the fishing styles our customers do. Have a favorite brand of blank? That’s not a problem either.
